This stunning gem has sparkling  colour on the right side with a crystal on the left, this hard andamooka has formed from the mines of andamooka where several types such as this special gem originated from.
Set in 925 silver with a brass jump ring.
With an open back to show even more matrix with colour.

Opal is a natural stone with a hardness of 5.5 - 6.5 on the mohs scale, making it a similar hardness to glass. Composed of hydrated silica, their significant water content is part of what makes them delicate stones.
Opal is generally stable, and although it can be affected by heat from intense light which can cause fracture lines called “crazing.” we take every care to use only stones that are less susceptible to damage, any stone that has weakness is not used in our jewellery.
Although these stones are treated to keep them safe we suggest you take every care when wearing opal so as not to scratch or fracture the stone.
